Dr. Steven Lesmeister, Dentist
I was born and raised in Grand Forks, ND. In 2000, I completed degrees in music education and German education from the University of North Dakota. After teaching English in Europe for a year, I returned to Fargo where I taught German to junior high and high school students. A few years later, I returned to the Universities in pursuit of my dental degree. In 2009, I was awarded my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota.
After an associateship in Wisconsin, I began practicing in McIntosh, Minnesota in 2010. Since that time, my team and I have provided quality dentistry for our patients in that location and from our second location in Red Lake Falls, which we opened in 2016. In 2018 we relocated to Crookston. We are excited to bring our services to Crookston and its surrounding area.
I believe that continuous learning is essential to providing the best, most current dentistry possible. For that reason, I take a significant amount of continuing education. While I enjoy most aspects of dentistry, my favorite part is getting to know the patients and working with my team. For me, going to work is fun.

Jessica, Hygienist
Jessica is one of our Registered Dental Hygienists. She has been a hygienist for 13 years and joined our team 3 years ago. She enjoys spending time with her family, biking, creating DIY projects and trying out different recipes. Jess's favorite part about her career in dental hygiene is helping patients overcome their dental fears.
Hannah, Hygienist
Hannah is one of our Registered Dental Hygienists. She is a new grad of 2024 and joined our team this June. She enjoys spending time with her kids, reading, and camping. Hannah's favorite part of dental hygiene so far is the endless ability to learn new things and the patient relationships.

Lisa, Dental Assistant
Lisa has been a Certified Dental Assistant for 35 years and has worked at Lesmeister Dental over Five years. In her free time, she likes spending time at the lake, game nights with her family, and shopping at TJ Maxx. Lisa enjoys working with the more extensive cases with Dr Steve like crown/bridge work and implant procedures.
Hannah, Dental Assistant
Hannah has been a dental assistant at Lesmeister Dental since 2022. In Hannah's free time she enjoys spending time with her kids, reading, and being at the lake. Her favorite part of being a dental assistant is helping patients get their smile back.

Joanna, Office Manager
Numbers are my world! I love the financial aspect of the business but I also love being able to help patients understand their insurance. Call and ask for me if you are looking at switching insurance and just want to pick my brain. I always love those calls.
I have shifted to working from home most days but that allows me a lot more patient interaction time on the phone. It has been a welcomed switch. I love my monthly visits to the office when I see a patient who has been with us for years. 2025 will mark 20 years for me at the dental office. I'm looking forward to that day. We joke it was a packaged deal when Dr. Steve bought the practice, he got me along with the deal. I was here to help him with the transition. I've been proud to see the growth of the practice over the years.
In my spare time, I enjoy family time above all. Especially playing games or on the lake; boating or fishing. I also enjoy creative arts like needlework, crocheting and knitting as well as scrapbooking.
Ashleigh, Patient Treatment Coordinator/Hygienist
Ashleigh is one of our Registered Dental Hygienists. She has been a hygienist for 18 years and joined our team over 5 years ago. You may not see her in the back because she has transitioned to patient concierge. Ashleigh now coordinates our patient care which includes explaining treatment options, financial arrangements, scheduling appointments and coordinating appointments with specialists. She is here to assist you achieve your dental goals.
Ashleigh enjoys spending time with her family, attending her children's activities, relaxing at the lake, and landscaping. Her favorite part about her career in dental hygiene is building rapport with patients and assisting them in achieving their dental goals.
Maci, Receptionist
Maci started working for Lesmeister Dental in January of 2018. You may have seen Maci welcoming patients at the front desk or assisting chair side with Dr. Steve; she enjoys working in all aspects in the dental office. In her free time, she enjoys baking sourdough and spending time with her family
